My measuring trousers…

I put them on the other day…

… as you know I spend most of my time in sportswear (which is mostly stretchy)

so…sometimes I get a shock when I try to wear my smart trousers.

I had a pleasant surprise this time…

Thank goodness as I’m not sure what I would have worn if they were too tight!

Don’t think I could have got away with Nike tracky bottoms in a church!!

What about you??

Is there an item of clothing that you use as a measurement of your shape/size???

Do you have a favourite dress/top/pair of jeans you would love to get your body back into??

Exercise your way into your favourite outfits….

Christmas Countdown

The ‘S’ of Christmas stands for strength.

To increase your metabolism ( the rate you burn calories) you have to include strength exercises in your fitness routine.

Exercises like press ups, plank, back extensions and tricep dips.

The key to improving strength is to do a short set of repetitions, around 8-10, but using your body weight to maximise resistance. SLOWLY!

It’s normal to struggle a bit and feel ‘shuddery'( if that is even a word!)

Fitness Pilates classes focus on core strength and I teach some strength in Funky Fitmix.

Quote- Strong is the new skinnyunknown

Lots of love, planks and press ups!!!
